Men's Health - Andropause
A male's health is often affected by signs and symptoms of testosterone deficiency. This can show through
-
- depression
- memory loss
- muscle loss
- aches and pains
- thinning skin
- low libido
- poor erections, etc.
- lack of mental firmness / indecision.
Many men can be helped through replacing the low hormones, with an exact match of DHEA and/ or testosterone. These bioidentical hormones can be titrated up or down until you feel better. Regular checks are kept on the blood levels to ensure that you're not going too high to low.
I find that many men are embarrassed to talk about this, and in fact, a lot of them come in with their wives. This should not be an embarrassing problem, as it is a fact of life in some people (just as some women experience problems with menopause and others don't, some men experience problems with Andropause and some don't), and it can be helped.
