Spectrum Health operates a private billing system.

Only patients who are under the Department of Veteran Affairs will be directly billed to the government.

All first visits are allocated one hour duration and will be charged $200.

Subsequent visits will be charged at $60 per quarter of an hour.

Please indicate the time you think you require, when making a booking.

Medicare refunds are available (average rebate is about $35) for all conditions which have a medical reason. (For instance, a rebate would apply for hypnotherapy to help in the treatment of depression, but a rebate would not be available, if hypnotherapy was given to play better golf.)

Private health funds do not offer a rebate to consultations with medical practitioners in their rooms.
