Medical hypnosis (or hypnotherapy) is a very delicate, yet extremely powerful tool in the art of healing

1. Am I out of control, or under someone else's control, while in hypnosis?

You are in control of your faculties - you will not accept any suggestions contrary to your moral and ethical beliefs.

2. Am I aware of what's happening?

You are fully aware of what's going on around you, you are not unconscious - hearing is actually increased, while in hypnosis.

3. Will I be made to tell any secrets, while in hypnosis?

The type of hypnotherapy that I use does not involve you speaking - whatever you want to tell me, you mention to me before hypnotherapy.

4. Am I likely to bark like a dog, etc.?

You are not asked to do anything silly - in fact, you lie still and remain in total control.

5. Is there anything in hypnosis about religion?

There is no religion mentioned in hypnotherapy and your own religious beliefs remain the same.

6. Is hypnosis, similar to relaxation and meditation?

Yes, the brain waves are a similar rhythm in all three - however in hypnosis, you are proactive and dynamic in producing a better mode of thought.
