Types of Oestrogen
| Weakest | Phyto oestrogens - from plants/herbs such as soy, red clover, etc. |
| Slightly stronger | Oestriol which is made in the human body and is the safest of the natural female oestrogens -- this is in very high concentrations, when a woman is pregnant. |
| Mid strength | Oestrone which can be made in the fat tissue and which can convert to Oestradiol. |
| Stronger again | Oestradiol which is made in the ovary and is the strongest of the naturally occurring human female oestrogens. |
| Even stronger | Man-Made oestrogens, which are made to overcome the natural oestrogens in the human body -- these are often made by drug companies and are in medication such the contraceptive pill, and some HRT treatments. |
| Strongest | Xeno oestrogens which are not produced in the human body and occur from man-made products. These can be very harmful, and the human body find these very difficult to get rid of. They can enter the human body through your skin and orally. They can be found in some sorts of plastics, and insecticides and are often a product of the petrochemical industry. |
Oestrogen is a word used to cover all the different types of oestrogens.
Oestrogen is a hormone that this necessarily for womanhoodand and as it tends to stimulate growth, it can add curves.
However, oestrogen can also make everything grow. It activates the lining of the uterus to grow, and also the breast tissue. This can give an increased chance of uterine cancer and breast cancer.
Because of this, I do not tend to use oestrogens (even as bioidentical oestrogens) without good reason.
